The starting point

At the Edelhoff fine wire plant, industrial energy flows interact with heat supply for the office areas. Electricity, heat and cooling must be managed transparently across the complete plant, while purchase and feed-in through the public power grid remain visible at all times.
Separate views for production, buildings and the grid would hide important relationships. A shared energy management system was therefore required to connect technical states and energy flows throughout the plant.
